Turn off the phone.<br /> <font color=YellowGreen><b>Note:</b></font> If the phone is unresponsive and does not turn off* remove the battery and then re-insert it.<br />
2. Press and hold the Volume Down key and then press the Power key.<br />

4. Press the Volume Down key to select Clear Storage.<br />
5. Press the Power key.<br />

To master reset the phone* perform the following steps:<br />
IMPORTANT: A master reset restores the original factory settings and may erase all downloaded content* including ringtones* images* programs* and contacts stored in the internal memory. It does not erase data stored on the SIM card or memory card (if available). A master reset will erase all your data and require you to log in again and go through set up screens.<br />
1. Back up all necessary data.<br />
2. At the Home screen* press the Menu key.<br />
3. Touch Settings.<br />
4. Touch and slide the menu upward.<br />
5. Touch SD card &amp; phone storage.<br />
6. Touch Factory data reset.<br />
7. Touch Reset phone.<br />
8. Touch Erase everything.<br />
